For a small DUI offense, you will be lucky to get off with a $500 dollars fee for a DUI lawyer. However, if you do chose to fight the UDI charges and have a DUI lawyer to represent you. The legal fee may cost upwards to $2000 to $30 000 dollars.

Also, your DUI lawyer may hire additional investigator which may cost your another $3000 dollars. When you add all of that up, getting busted for DUI is not cheap. How you may look at it, getting a DUI not only gets you behind bars, or getting yourself or other injured, even killed. DUI will put a large hole through your wallet.

So, before you step on your gas paddle after a few drinks, make sure you think about the consequences. Not only for your own and other safety, but also think what will happen to your bank account.
